“Sailing the Winds of Change”

Recently relocated abroad? No doubt, stress is your steady companion as living in another culture, facing the challenge of a foreign language and struggling with dual career issues leaves us without our networks and successful coping skills.
As spouses we share the responsibilities of nurturing the family needs, and to be a supportive partner. Other than simply run a household abroad it is coupled to the desire to make a new house to a real home.
Juggling these different roles and learning to cope with an new cultural environment requires specific knowledge and coping skills.
This workshop will focus on gaining a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges connected to raising a family overseas, how international mobility effects the family members, and how cultural differences permeate our everyday life.
Naturally the sharing of resources and coping strategies will round of this interactive workshop which encourages the participants to network and share their experiences.
