Theatre
Theatre-goers won’t be disappointed in Frankfurt – apart from a rich variety of German theatres and opera houses, there’s also a long-standing, lively English-speaking theatre scene, both amateur and professional. The following websites deserve a closer look. You’ll be very pleasantly surprised:

As part of a celebration, this theatre will be presenting five productions this year instead of our usual four, a truly contemporary roster of works with some of the best and most popular plays by dramatists writing in English today. www.english-theatre.org

Play Reading Nights Every First Monday of the Month.

"Come to a FEST Play Reading Night where we can all take a look at possible future FEST plays for production, use your acting skills, enjoy other peoples' acting skills, look for plays to direct, discuss creative and technical aspects of production and generally have some FEST fun.

Absolutely everyone is welcome. We need an audience as well as actors. The plan is to introduce and read from two or three plays in one Play Reading Night. We are looking to read anything suitable for production. You can suggest a play for reading, or volunteer to be put on the list to be a Play Reading Leader or an actor." www.festfrankfurt.org
